STEP1 : DETERMINE WIDTH
Awnings should extend four or five inches over each side of the window or door opening to be covered. Measure the width of the opening and add eight to ten inches to determine the total width. Record the width on the measurement sheet area at the bottom of this page.

STEP2 : DETERMINE COVERAGE
The Awning header will normally attach two to three inches above the window or door opening. (A secure attachement for the header on mobile homes is an inch above the opening.) From the header attachment point determine how far you would like your awning to extend from the house. This will be your total coverage. If using for storm protection order your Awning long enough to cover the entire opening when in a closed position.

STEP 3 : ORDER AWNING
Record the coverage on the measurement sheet area at the bottom of this page. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each opening to be covered.
